Hello my darlings,
I've been adding new content to my shop. A cute two-step and a few sock-smelling videos from my new space. Go take a look. ;-)

Hey, darlings, I thought I'd talk a little bit about filming in small spaces today. When I'm making videos for you guys I tend to shoot from only one angle. Short clips with a specific focus. (That why so much of my stuff is knees down or hips down - I'm nowhere near flexible enough to, say, put my feet behind my own head. Though wouldn't that be a sight!) I spent a couple of months shooting in a specific area with a narrow frame. A location with a high-pattern carpet so that I could keep everything in the frame without having to think too hard. ;-)
The above pic is an example of what I got up to while shooting from that angle. But, tbh, I actually prefer to have more of myself on screen. Call me vain (you wouldn't be wrong), but I like showing off the full length of my super-long and shapely (if I do say so myself) legs. With that in mind, I'm trying a new spot, one where I can lounge, put my feet up (so to speek), and still get some good shots in for you. The first of those went up at Midnight last night. Here's a little preview for you. (You stinky-feet fellas will particularly like it! ;-) Okay, darlings,
I know you've seen them before, but I'm still nuts about the see-through vamps on my white high heels! Aren't they the cutest? <3 Well hello again, my darlings.
Hasn't it just been a minute. This is just a quick hello to say "I'm baaaaaaack". I hope you like what I've done with the place. ;-) There are a few new pics in my gallery, and more on the way. Here's a little taste of what's to come. <3 Hi, darlings! I've spent most of February holed up in my house, hoping for Spring, since Winter finally landed on us For Real. None the less, I got out for a ruby-bedecked v-day dinner with one of my sweeties and had a grand time shooting new FOOTage for the shop. (Pop over to my gallery for a sneak peek). Lots of red and black for Valentines' Day plus a new clip featuring my favourite party shoes! (That's a still from the shoot - I love how reflective the pewter is, and you know me: Glitter always. The tiny studs all over the uppers make me squeal every time). Now that the calendar's turned over, I can look forward to my upcoming trip to the Big City. Planning a couple of shoots for sites other than my own. More on that as I learn about the project! Most recently, I've been having fun with socks and stockings. A friend weeded her own prodigious sock drawer and gifted me with the goodies. Grey cotton lace OTK socks. Berry-and-black hounds-tooth pantyhose. Delicate, sandal-foot black lace-topped stay-up stockings. And these! Slouchy socks! I feel like a Tokyo Fashion Star!
Even when I'm lounging in my house, watching the snow melt, and drinking chocolate bourbon rather than hanging out in Harijuku. ;-) Until next time, darlings, ~Tess. Hello again, footfans.
I had myself a merry little christmas - with cute striped socks, peppermint foot cream, and a book on foot fetishism in my stocking, no less! - and I hope you did, too. I'm about to stroll off to the Big City for a week of debauchery and boot shopping but I thought I'd take a minute to say Hi to you all and let you know what I've been up to. ... Which has mostly been filming clips featuring nylon pantyhose, to be honest. (If footjobs are your thing, you might enjoy this, by the way). I've been having a grand time wiggling my toes and scrunching my big feet through all that sheer fabric, and imaginging my favourite footboys getting off at the mere thought of it. I admit, though, there's a different reason for me to be focusing on pantyhose at the moment. Don't get me wrong. Hosery is lovely. The silky smoothness of the nylon is unlike anything else. But it's also winter and - just as hosery helps to keep a lady's long legs warm on a cold day... they also help disguise the bruises. I swear, icy sidewalks will be the end of me. My legs look like they've been through a meet-up of Fight Club! So my trip down (slightly) south is also a chance for me to hit the spa and give my abraided shins a chance to heal up and get pretty again. Until then, feel free to take a peek at my gallery to see what I've been up to, and here's a cute, non-gallery pic to ...inspire you until I'm back in town. Take care, darlings, Tess. So Christmas is Coming. I'm knitting socks and leg-warmers (big surprise) for All The People and hoping I can get everything done before my out-of-town lover arrives for the Solstice (and my relatives arrive a week later). You'd think I'd be all "Go check out my wishlist!" but... I don't actually maintain one (I admit, I like to be 100% in charge of which shoes make it into my collection at what time. ;-) Though I'm sure that's no surprise to anyone). Which reminds me, I promised you a shot of my spiffy new (relatively - they arrived over a month ago) shoes: I love them! 6" heels, suede uppers with tonnes of tiny pyramid studs all over them! They are shockingly comfortable. (It's the inflexible midsole - keeps the heel from sliding out from under you. Your foot actually stays where you put it. See? Stripper shoes can totally be practical!) Plus they look great with both my favourite cozy sweater dress, AND my purple thong, (as seen in the photo). Ya like? ;-) I'm wearing them to all the parties between now and January 2nd! In less personal news, I've added new pics to my gallery, so do feel free to take a peak at what I've been up to lately. I've been having a grand time filming (slightly) longer works and, while I wouldn't say I'm getting up to "narrative style" just yet, I'm working my way towards it. Working on sound and video editing is a constant learning process, and it's exciting to see mysef improving and creating more complicated pieces. :-D
Here's a screen shot of my latest, longer piece. Clocks in at just over 9 minutes, and it's going live this Friday night (well, 1am Saturday Morning, my time, but time zones are what they are). Black pantyhose, purple lingeree (yep, the set in the above pic is featured in this week's clip), steel sex toys, and one hell of a blow-job for my favourite white platform stilettos. Hope you love it as much as I do! So, it's almost Hallowe'en. I'll be spending my night in a hot tub with a gaggle of gorgeous women, eating white chocolate cheesecake and drinking ice wine (like you do), but I wanted to take this timely moment to talk about the notion of "costume" and how it intersects with the idea of fashion as art.
More accurately, I just want the excuse to post a bunch of amazing shoe pics featuring the art/design/footwear of designer Kermit Tesaro. There are lots of shoes that are "art" in the sense that the shoe is being used as the canvas -like this example - and others where the shoes are sculptural but still wearable as functional (ish) footware - such as these floral confections, or this totally cute pair that references blow-up dolls. (I would so wear those, you know I would). But there's a point where a shoe goes from sculptural footwear to... something else entirely. Kermit Tesaro walked up to that line and basically high-kicked his way across it to bring you some truely amazing, completely (or at least nearly-so) non-functional, wearable shoe ART. Behold! So, as is typical of my luck, I've managed to stub my toe badly enough to make it bleed. Any new footage that I shoot for the next month is going to involve pantyhose, stockings, socks, and/or shoes. Good thing I enjoy all of the above, eh? ;-) On the subject of shoes, by the way, I splurged and got myself three new pairs of pretty, not-particularly-practical open-toed high heels, all of which should be arriving any day now. shade called "flirt", if you're keeping track) at the toe.Thinking of wearing these ones to Burlesque Fest (quelle surprise...). Toronto. I've been oogling these for over a year, and I can't wait to have them in my hot little hands (and, more to the point, on my big, beautiful feet!). I'm hoping to strut my stuff in these puppies at my favourite Ladies Kink Weekend in October. ;-) silver shoes, so it can't come as much of a surprise that I've chosen to go with the pewter platform and grey suede upper, rather than a more "traditional" black or red. I'm looking forward to breaking these out during Sparkle Season in December - the perfect pair to wear with garnet velvet or ice blue satin and glittering silver earrings at every possible party.
I'll absolutely post pretty picture of me in my gorgeous new acquisitions once they've arrived, but I wanted to (squee, and) let you know what's in the works for Fall! Cheers, Tess. <3 Glitter nailpolish. I love the look. I hate the struggle to get the damn stuff off after you've put it on. Unlike 100% of all other glitter, that will come off - and stick to everything else - if you so much as look at it funny, glitter polish is just about indelible. As such, alas, I only ever treat is as a "sometimes food" rather than an everyday thing. I was reminded of this earlier today while I was scrubbing at my poor accent toes trying to get the glitter to come off. The stuff is like sand mixed with super glue, I tell you. O.O None the less, my nails are nude once more, and getting some much-needed recovery time after weeks (and, er, multiple layers) of dark polish. Gotta keep these pretty puppies healthy! I'm not gonna lie. I'm picking up all sorts of unexpected tricks when it comes to keeping my soles and toes their smoothest in spite of a lifestyle that involves a lot of walking and a definite willingness to kick my shoes off on the dance floor (that was last night, and I paid for it in scuffed soles and at least one baby blister this morning... But I know how to take care of my tootsies, so they're feeling just fine after a little TLC). ;-) See you in the sunshine, darlings!
Cheers, Tess. |
